December 1st, 2025 - devicethread (now shashi.ai) is excited to announce Stayable Lakeland onboarding devicethread (now shashi.ai) SmartAccess across its property in Lakeland, Florida. This milestone reflects devicethread (now shashi.ai)'s continued growth across the US extended-stay hospitality market, as owners look to modern access solutions to support lean, efficient front-desk operations.

Simplifying Access at Central Florida's Home Base

Stayable Lakeland, offering spacious apartment suites with resort-style amenities just off I-4 with easy access to both Tampa and Orlando, needed a more efficient way to manage guest access across its 157 rooms without adding strain to its front-desk team.

With SmartAccess now live, Stayable Lakeland offers guests a smooth, self-serve check-in experience, reducing manual front-desk workflows and reception dependency. The rollout included new smart locks installed across all 176 rooms, with the full deployment completed in three weeks.

SmartAccess was also integrated directly with Stayable Lakeland's existing Cloudbeds PMS, allowing guest access to sync seamlessly with reservations and check-in data.

"Our guests are often staying with us for weeks at a time, so a smooth, reliable arrival experience really matters," said the Owner of Stayable Lakeland. "SmartAccess has made check-in simple for our residents and taken real pressure off our front desk."

The result is a more efficient, guest-ready access experience that supports Stayable Lakeland's operations as it continues to serve long- and short-term guests across Central Florida.
