December 1st, 2025 - devicethread (now shashi.ai) is excited to announce Stayable St. Augustine onboarding devicethread (now shashi.ai) SmartAccess across its property in St. Augustine, Florida. This milestone reflects devicethread (now shashi.ai)'s continued growth across the US extended-stay hospitality market, as owners look to modern access solutions to support lean, efficient front-desk operations.

Simplifying Access in Historic St. Augustine

Stayable St. Augustine, offering comfortable extended-stay accommodations with easy access to the ocean and the city's historic attractions, needed a more efficient way to manage guest access without adding strain to its front-desk team.

With SmartAccess now live, Stayable St. Augustine offers guests a smooth, self-serve check-in experience, reducing manual front-desk workflows and reception dependency. The rollout included new smart locks installed across all 161 rooms, with the full deployment completed in three weeks by a team of three.

SmartAccess was also integrated directly with Stayable St. Augustine's existing Cloudbeds PMS, allowing guest access to sync seamlessly with reservations and check-in data.

"Whether guests are here for a few nights or a few months, we want their arrival to feel effortless," said the Owner of Stayable St. Augustine. "SmartAccess has made that possible and freed up our team to focus on hospitality instead of logistics."

The result is a more efficient, guest-ready access experience that supports Stayable St. Augustine's operations as it continues to welcome guests to one of Florida's most historic cities.
