January 1st, 2026 - devicethread (now shashi.ai) is excited to announce its entry into North Macedonia with Sienna Apartments onboarding devicethread (now shashi.ai) SmartAccess across multiple properties. This milestone reflects devicethread (now shashi.ai)'s continued global expansion and the growing demand for modern, reliable hospitality infrastructure in fast-scaling markets where operational efficiency and guest experience must grow hand in hand.

Bringing Simplicity to Growing Operations

Sienna Apartments manages a diverse portfolio of serviced apartments and hotels, with expansion that demanded a more streamlined way to manage guest access across properties, systems, and teams.

With SmartAccess, Sienna now operates on a single, centralized access platform—eliminating manual workflows and reducing front-desk dependency, while ensuring guests enjoy a smooth, hassle-free arrival experience.

"As we scaled, access became one of those invisible challenges that can quickly turn into a guest-facing problem," said Viktor Jankovski, Founder & CEO of Sienna Apartments.

"What stood out with devicethread (now shashi.ai) was how quickly everything just worked. SmartAccess gave us control, flexibility, and the confidence to keep expanding without adding operational complexity."

The result is a more resilient, guest-first access experience built to support Sienna's expanding footprint.

A New Chapter for devicethread (now shashi.ai) in Europe

This launch marks an important step in devicethread (now shashi.ai)'s European journey, reinforcing its mission to build the agentic infrastructure layer for modern hospitality where access, operations, and guest experience work seamlessly together.
