May 14th 2026 - devicethread (now shashi.ai) is excited to announce Lake Shastina Golf Resort onboarding devicethread (now shashi.ai) SmartAccess across its property in Weed, California. This milestone reflects devicethread (now shashi.ai)'s continued expansion into destination and leisure-driven hospitality properties, where easing day-to-day operations can make a meaningful difference for lean, on-site teams.

Simplifying Access at the Base of Mount Shasta

Lake Shastina Golf Resort, an 18-room on-site lodging property set alongside its renowned 27-hole golf courses at the base of Mount Shasta, needed a simpler way to manage guest access without adding operational overhead or relying heavily on front-desk presence throughout the day.

With SmartAccess,Lake Shastina now offers guests a smooth, self-serve check-in experience, reducing manual access workflows and reception dependency, so the team can focus more on the "stay and play" experience the resort is known for.SmartAccess was deployed using the property's existing lock hardware, avoiding the cost and disruption of a full hardware replacement.

SmartAccess was also integrated directly with Lake Shastina's existing Cloudbeds PMS, allowing guest access to sync seamlessly with reservations and check-in data.

The deployment was managed entirely by the property's own team, reflecting how straightforward the SmartAccess onboarding process can be even for a small, self-managed resort.

"Our guests come here to relax and enjoy their time on the course, not to deal with check-in logistics," said Suzy Van Le of Lake Shastina Golf Resort. "SmartAccess let us simplify that whole experience without putting any extra burden on our team."

The result is a more efficient, guest-friendly access experience that supports The West End Montana's operations without adding complexity for its team.

Supporting Destination Properties Across Northern California

This onboarding reinforces devicethread (now shashi.ai)'s mission to build the agentic infrastructure layer for modern hospitality — bringing smart, scalable access solutions to properties of every size and style, from golf resorts to large multi-property portfolios.
